Ready to help children and families in your community?
Ready to change the world?
Kiwanis is ready for you!
Who We Are
The Kiwanis Club of Lawton is virtually a "who's who" of community members. There's a great mix of people; all different ages, professions and backgrounds. A great place for networking and fellowship! We are a volunteer-based club and members typically volunteer each month to assist with club service projects. Kiwanis' main focus is children but there are a variety of other community projects we are involved in as well. We provide support and services that directly impact children and families in our own community. We support the families of Lawton "one child at a time."
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to all men and women who are at least 18 years of age.
Why Should I Join?
There are many reasons to join! You are going to make new friends; Friends that will last a lifetime. You are going to have fun. You are going to gain a wealth of great information shared by guest speakers at the weekly club meetings. You are going to have opportunities for networking. Kiwanis members like to do business with our fellow members. And possibly the most important reason to join Kiwanis; the opportunity to see smiles on the faces of the children you are directly helping. What could possibly be more rewarding than that?
How To Join?
Joining is easy! Pick the one that's right for you. If you already know a club member or officer, just tell them you’d like to learn more about Kiwanis. If you do not already know a Lawton Kiwanis member, you may fill out the contact form below to have someone contact you. Or, simply come to one of our weekly meetings! Meetings take place every Thursday at Noon at the Comanche County Fairgrounds in the Prairie Building, 920 SW Sheridan Road. Non-members, who currently do not have a sponsor, are welcome to attend (1) one luncheon/meeting on us! Attending a meeting is an excellent way to learn about Kiwanis, make contacts, find a sponsor, and let the members know more about you. Non-members are limited to (1) one free meeting/luncheon without joining, unless you come at the specific invitation of your Kiwanis Member Sponsor.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is a one-time fee to join of $50, plus yearly membership dues of $600 (billed at $150 quarterly.)
